Baptistonia echinata |
|
This Brazilian species was segregated out of Oncidium into the monotypic genus Baptistonia. A very nice species in its own right, particularly when grown warm, it also has unique properties in hybridizing. It yields seedlings that flower very early with multiple flowers.
